One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue FishAnother Dr. Seuss book that is exceedingly popular with toddlers, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish has Seuss’ great rhymes, and also throws in counting for good measure. Since toddlers are learning how to count, and how each number of an object has to be counted, they’ll love counting in this book. Also, Dr. Seuss drew some of the best illustrations when it comes to toddler appeal. They are brightly colored, and sufficiently silly to make a toddler laugh out loud.

Green Eggs and HamNo toddler (or grown-up, in my case) top 10 list would be complete without a book or two by the master, Dr. Seuss. We’ve included two of his most popular books for toddlers. The first book, Green Eggs and Ham, has been bought over 8 million times around the world since it was first published in 1960. This book is attractive to toddlers because of Seuss’ fabulous ability to rhyme anything, and also because there is no such thing as a picky toddler. Any parent who has ever tried to get a two-year-old to eat can share a horror story. Pick this one up, and have a laugh, because the food wars–and toddlerhood–don’t last forever. 2.5/5 5 |
